Save the Children (SCUK) is a leading international NGO working to create a better world for children. We provide emergency relief and implement education, health and child protection programmes. We are seeking an experienced national staff to work in Kupang , West Timor for the Program funded by AusAID as part of the Australian Government’s official overseas aid program .

Field Grant Officer (FGO â€" WT, 1 post )

To support the Programme Manager and the team in facilitating the most effective and efficient use of a diverse range of funding sources arising from the donor. Within Save the Children UK ’s financial framework, implement and undertake financial management and supporting budgeting activities as well as budget consolidation for programme/projects and support Save the Children UK ’s partners in developing and maintaining efficient financial database and documentation systems, in order to ensure the optimum support to field programme implementation and operations.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance , Master is preferable
• 3 years proven experience as finance officer in international NGO or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated strong computer skills and abilities, particularly in spreadsheets.
· Good communication and presentation skills (primarily in English and bahasa Indonesia)
· Ability to work in detail, with limited supervision and able to travel and work in remote areas
