MBA Scholarship 2007 Barcelona Management Institute
Barcelona Management Institute (BMI) is a privately held business
school offering MBA programs and executive education services in
Barcelona, Spain. BMI is unaffiliated with any religious or political
groups.
The Barcelona Management Foundation is the parent of BMI. It acts as
an advisory board on matters of corporate social responsibility. Its
goals are to develop leaders, to promote business education
opportunities, and to foster business education exchange in Barcelona.
The Foundation achieves these goals in different ways. It identified a
need in Barcelona for high-quality business education in English and
founded BMI, whose mission is to develop leaders. It promotes business
education opportunities by awarding partial, need-based scholarships.
Finally, the Foundation brings top speakers to Barcelona to share
their insights with the local business community
Barcelona Management Institut (BMI) provides two types of partial
tuition scholarships. They are available for MBA candidates:
merit-based and need-based. Scholarships are still being awarded for
the January 2007 term
Merit-based scholarships
A limited number of merit-based partial tuition scholarships is
available every year to help fund the MBA for outstanding individuals.
For MBA candidates applying for January 2007, there are 5 merit-based
scholarships available, worth 4,500 Euro each. These scholarships are
open to any candidate who is offered a place in the program and who is
not sponsored by a company.
Barcelona Management Foundation scholarships
The Barcelona Management Foundation offers scholarships to candidates
that have high goals in life but limited financial resources to
achieve them.
For MBA candidates applying for January 2007, there are 5 need-based
scholarships available, worth 4,500 Euro each. These scholarships are
open to any candidate who is offered a place in the program and who is
not sponsored by a company.
